The S.H. Cowell Foundation takes a collaborative and hands-on approach to grantmaking. We view the organizations and communities we fund as partners, and we work hard to build mutual trust and respect.
The Cowell Foundation makes grants in neighborhoods, communities and towns in Northern and Central California.
We seek to support communities where youth, residents, service providers, educators and civic leaders have the potential to create a common vision and work together on behalf of low-income children and families.
